Photo Gallery and Contest

We'd love to have you help us improve the photos throughout this site by sending us your best shots. Especially be on the lookout for "news" items of events like a parade, opening of a new store, civic meeting, etc.

Win prizes: We'll also hold a contest each month featuring photos of a particular aspect of Harbour Island. Each month's winner will receive a free lunch at Arthur's Bakery where winning entries will be displayed. Here are the topics planned for this year:

Guidelines

Emailing entries: Send .jpg files to: arthursbakery@myharbourisland.com. Please send at low resolution (file size under 50k) and 300 pixel width, if possible. Email here is not reliable, so don't assume we've received your photos until you hear back from us.

Entering hard copies:: You may mail photos to Arthur's Bakery, Harbour Island, Bahamas. But we can't guarantee how soon we can get them back to you.

Multiple entries: Enter as many times as you like

Where & when: Shots may be taken at any time, but all must be taken on Harbour Island.

Legalities: By submitting, you are giving us permission to post files on this site. Please get written permission from any individuals included in the shot.

Deadlines: It's never too early or too late to submit a photo on a given topic. If you submit after voting is complete, we may still add your photo for the permanent gallery.

Credit: Be sure to include your name and where you're from so we can give you credit. And include your email so we can notify you when you win!
